The intro video 'start.mp4' won't play correctly on my phone either in game or from my file explorer using the phones built in video player. It just shows a black screen whilst playing the audio. Now missing the intro isn't of concern to me because I've seen it on the PC version.

The problem is that if I press the screen during the video, it just starts the video again. If I leave it alone to play through the audio, eventually it does show a frame and then stop playing. And if i press the screen, again it restarts. I don't seem to be able to be able to reach a menu to actually start the game!

I'm aware this is likely an issue with my phone rather than you as I'm beta testing another game and the dev had to allow for the fact that my phone won't play his intro! I seem able to play some mp4's and not others and I don't know why.

I was just wondering if there is someway to prevent it playing the intro? I've tried deleting the file and replacing it with a 0 byte file but the game just wants to re-download the SD card data if I do that.

My phone is a ZTE Blade running CM7.1 Gingerbread. Specs are 480x800 display, 512mb ram (250mb free), Qualcomm 7227 chipset (ARM11 CPU and Adreno 200 GPU) rest of the specs here: http://www.gsmarena.com/zte_blade-3391.php

Thankyou! I now seem able to skip the intro in 1.09. Runs well on my fairly underpowered phone!

Does the game runs ok after the intro?
