Depression after looting with a hostile character

There seem to be a logical flaw in the story in case you decide to be hostile and kill people in a house, then loot them. The characters are then all right with the fact that you kill them saying sth like "either them or us", but they are depressed that they looted the house, feeling that "they will die without the food we took!", even though they're already dead. That has like no sense at all

Don't know, but I think I discovered the same thing:
When I turn hostile to the thugs in the hotel/travelling-agency (which are holding a hostage and are obviously cruel) and loot the place, my characters are depressed, even if I freed the poor hostage (which is why the thugs turned hostile to me in the first place).
That seems really inconsistent.
And: When I do the same thing in the storage building ("Lagerhaus" in german), they are not depressed, nevertheless there are the same "steeling private property"-symbols.
Fix that, please =)

The humanities often arouse distrust and skepticism due to
gas-stationsnearme.com the fact that their subject matter is often overwhelmingly not specific enough and often lacks.
