[bug]the Working bench stop working

I accidentally activate both of the working bench and the kitchen at the same time. And then the kitchen dialog pop up, while the working bench dialog didn't.
After that I cannot use the working bench any more for this round of the game

I reached around the 22nd day or so, and I lost access to my workbench as well. However, it remained inaccessible for successive days, and I had to start over. Very frustrating. I spent good money on this game which is not something I do very often, the game is beautiful, and I do feel like it is worth it...
...if it works.
I know that I stopped a character building something, and tried to restart him, and there may very well have been other processes going on at the same time- kitchen or the herb table thing, but it seemed an anomaly. I tried exiting the game and reentering but to no avail. very frustrating, it was my most successful campaign to date.
