Snow after cold went away [Bug?]

We have a bunch of snow "stored" - curious in a house with plus grade - but after the weather becomes better - there was no radio forecast, damned frogs - there is no option to smelt it in stove anymore.
While it needs more resources - why? Temperatures are high enough to smelt it even without fuel - we're no more capable of smelting it much faster than waiting for a rainy day. Thus we can't use a multiple of 10 water to increase the output of vegetables within the same 3 days. Unless 10 water for 4 vegetables in 3 days, 20 water for 8 vegetables in 3 days etc. is a bug.
Either way we should be able to use the smelting function.
