Keep starting with the same 2 characters

Just after the 17th of November update, and right after I finished my longest game (30-something days), I now keep on restarting with the same 2 characters, specifcally Anton and Cveta. It seems like the seed is stuck. I am not the only one having this problem: http://steamcommunity.com/app/282070/discussions/0/617319461035290779/

The problem was fixedby re-installing steam

you mean delete and install full steam application or game only? and why ...

I have the same issue ... but I won't reinstall steam, I have over 600Gb in games files, and I won't download it again.
