[SOLVED][Linux] Graphic issue - pink big rectangle

Postby Marvinside » Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:51 am

I just installed Anomaly 2 from Steam.
In the "Startup Screen" (the one with a Logo) and in the normal game, there is some strange rectangle in the top right corner.

This does not happen in the Main Menu.

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS.

If you ned aditional Informations, please tell me.

Hello!
Hmm all I can think of is to try to update your GPU drivers. I've never seen this one before. Please try to do an update and let me know if it helped.

After update to the newest drivers i get the following:

Code: Select all
$ ./Anomaly2
X Error of failed request:  BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request:  154 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request:  19 (X_GLXQueryServerString)
Serial number of failed request:  12
Current serial number in output stream:  12

I also have a 543kB logfile from before i updated. It's in the attachments.
EDIT:
It is not... "The extension txt is not allowed."

Pastebin has a limit of 500kB...

Code: Select all
aticonfig --initial

to activate direct rendering.
