When I try to start Anomaly 2 from Linux, my system freezes, and I have to restart my computer.

Any news on Anomaly2 for Linux?

To run Steam under Linux are You using: WINE or native Steam client for Linux ?
Can You play any other game from Steam like F4P Team Fortress 2 ?

My initial investigation suggest that Liquid engine use DirectX, so it shouldn't work under native Linux Steam client.
WINE has DirectX9 workaround so it should work.

If You let me know which distro You use i can try myself but I don't suppose Linux is officially supported anyway

Why you post anything if you dont know what you say?

- Anomaly2 is officially announced for Linux
- The Steam Client for Linux only let you install Games with Linux Support
- Anomaly 2 Beta has a Linux Build http://steamdb.info/app/209890/

But this build seems broken

We're working on the issue. Hope to fix it early next week.

We're aware of some issues with jerky commander movement when controlling with a keyboard. Hope to fix it with the next update.

Hi, with this new build I can play without major problems the single-player tutorial

I have only two bug-reports:
- into the loading screen there is an annoying flickering: this is not like the effect during the game (like radio distortion) so I think this is a bug;
- with a 16:10 resolution (like 1920x1200) the bottom of the screen is cropped, for example I can see only the upper part of the generals head (and I can't read what shes saying).

If interested this is my pc:
- Phenom II X6 1055T
- 16GB DDR3
- AMD/ATI 7850 2GB
- Distro: ArchLinux 64bit with the latest catalyst drivers
