Tower Buster Achievement

Is it possible to do it?
At the end of the mission 2, there are 2 tower clusters cover 2 routes to the 'goal' area.
I cannot find a route to move my troop pass both clusters without entering the 'goal' area and unintentionally complete the mission.

Any idea?

I guess it is possible. Steam shows that 2% of gamers have this achievement, so you can obtain it (unless they did it thanks to a glitch).

I know I destroyed one of these towers. I think that if I had one more crawler, I could take out the second tower.

Edit: OK, not like that, probably by skimming the south end off by repeated passes on the intersection but not turning towards the landing zone with crawlers and then marching through top I guess? If not, then you need to move crawler(s) to the front of the formation and hope they get enough shots before end of mission.

If I remember correctly you can loop your troops near the bottom to destroy them with rockets and then take the top route to the finish.

Yes, just verified that. You loop the crawlers in the lower "circle" until they shoot the farthest blasters off (APC can't fire that far) and then march through the north road destroying the last remaining blasters and reaching the LZ.

It's easy on every difficults. Just don't forget destroy these 6 towers at the beginning (about first objective).

That's how I did it. You have to take the bottom 2 with rocket launchers. Takes about 3 circling

I play predominantly with Crawlers (Rocket Launchers), and I can do the bottom 6 towers with one pass on that mission.

Just did it in the morning on hardcore difficulty level. Bottom ones must be taken first before going up.
