When you will fix it i just bought anomaly from humble and I cannot install it on my linux :/. For humble version there will be also fix ?

Exactly. We have solved the issue but at the same time we've made buggy update so we decided to hold it. On Monday it should be already all fine (when the update will go live).

Hello, admin. I was wondering if there is any status for this? You said the update will go live on Monday, but even today on Tuesday I do not see the updated files on my Humble Bundle account page. I have the same issues with installing this game as everyone else using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. My machine is actually Linux Mint 9 LTS, but it is based off of the same distro.

This is not to rush you. I just wanted to check and see if there was a problem uploading the updated files?

Is this isue fix'd? Today i've downloaded .deb from humblebundle but i get this dependencies ia32-libs 20080808 error.

I guess this doesn't appear on 11.04 or 11.10? I was thinking about upgrading ubuntu, this would speed up the process i guess.

But these are not Long Term Support releases and they come with the new Unity desktop preinstalled, which not everyone finds useful (you can install other desktops though, like Gnome, KDE, Xfce or Lxde). Apart from that, it should not be necessary to upgrade your OS to run one game…

That said, it is time for the promised update, dear Developers.

Yep, we screwed something up. Making another build now to make it run under Ubuntu 10.04 (it should fix some OpenSuse issues too).
Sorry for delay and thanks for patience.

EDIT - just to let you know - we did not abandon this update, we have just ran into unexpected problems. Still, the update will be delivered to HIB (despite the HIB with Anomaly was closed, you have access to it via email delivered to you when the bundle was purchased). Again, thank you for patience and understanding.
