I can confirm this exactly same problem on Debian Squeeze.
I was installing anomaly from the .deb package.

I am running on amd64 architecture. The package linux-anomaly-1326768872-amd64.deb depends on libc6-i386 (>= 2.12).
However, on this version of Debian the installed version of libc6-i386 is 2.11.3-2, and there's no straightforward way to update it, as repositories only provide this package up to the previous version.

I hope the issue is clearly explained.

You can get around this on debian squeeze via grabbing a testing or unstable version..

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/e ... 6_i386.deb

So that it wont mess with the system extract it to the Anomaly dir, optionally create a tmp dir within Anomaly.

$ dpkg -x /path/to/libc6_2.13-26_i386.deb .

Then create a link to it from within the Anomaly dir.

$ ln -s tmp/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libpthread-2.13.so libpthread.so.0

This will get you past the dependency problem but hit you with the segfault.

Is it already updated? We have 4 Ubuntu10.04 32bit computers here in the family and everyone is waiting ....
Just a test computer running Mint12 64bit works up to now :( .
( And thank you for the Linux support! )

You can compare the MD5 checksum of your old deb (if you downloaded it before) to the MD5 checksum available on the download page to check for changes.

A short notice here would be nice though. :D

edit: I just checked the md5sum of my linux-anomaly-1326768872-amd64.deb (3c8caa5bb7a610b67c6138cd601ff3a2) and the respective md5sum on humblebundle.com - nope, no changes yet.
